Dear friends,Lionel Messi won the Fifa Ballon d'Or Award for the best footballer of 2012.
At his age of 25,Leo has been voted the best football player for four consecutive years.
Messi surpassed his rival Cristiano Ronaldo and his team mate Andres Iniesta to win the Ballon d'Or award.
Messi received 41.60 % of the points in votes cast by national team coaches,captains and invited journalists,who gave their top three lists from a slate of 23 players.
Ronaldo received 23.68 % and Iniesta got 10.91 %.
