Fifa 13 vs Pes 13........!

FIFA 13......

You know how there are certain games that you pick and the realism is just undefinable? You play it once, you get hooked. God forbid if you are already a football fan. What EA has done in it's 13th edition of it's best selling game is to introduce realistic elements to make the game that much closer to Football. 

The new concepts introduced are ;

1. Intelligent AI defending (opposition defence now closes on you smartly).

2. First touch control (the ball realistically bounces off players, so you are expected to control the ball better on bounces).

3. Better player ratings with weekly updates. Previously you had some really retarded ratings. I'm a little sad that Messi is still the best player in FIFA but the ratings of all the players are close to original especially with the weekly ratings updates.

4. Completely renovated UI for the main game screens as well as the online play mode. Everything looks so much prettier.

5. Practice tutorials. Probably the best things ever, you have three leagues of tutorials to sharpen your play and be challenged through a various number of drills that really tighten up your play.

This is a game you must pick to play if you are into the greatest game in the world. It is the closest you will come to real football control and man is it addictive.

PES 13........

Now I know everyone says that FIFA is better, but they're very wrong.

Sure, it has more game modes like Ultimate Team, but to a person like me, this doesn't matter; all I want is a simple game.

Admittedly, there aren't that many licences for clubs on PES, and that is a downside, but it doesn't outweigh the advantages it brings against FIFA.

To make it simple, the gameplay on PES is way, way better than that on FIFA; you actually feel like you're playing with real moving figures, unlike stick figures. The graphics, too, are years ahead of anything on FIFA.

For offline play, you really shouldn't give it any second thought.PES is a much, much more enjoyable game that's easier to learn and master.

I must say Konami have really pulled it off this year. PES 2013 rocks !!! I used to be a big fan until PES 6 but switched to FIFA because PES became very stagnant. But this game has again switched me back to PES.

PROS;

1 The Player ID feature is really good.Players like Kaka,Messi & Ronaldo have been recreated to the minutest detail.

2 The master league has been improved.Player development depends on the performances   on the pitch.

3 Animations,as usual are EPIC !!!

4 The game play has been improved.
