Leicester City Football Club's striker Jamie Vardy breaks the record of scoring in consecutive games in the English Premier League, breaking former Manchester United's striker Ruud van Nistelrooy's record, in a 1-1 draw at the King Power Stadium. The English striker has now scored in 11 consecutive matches for the Foxes.
An excellent through ball from Christian Fuchs in the 23rd minute, found Vardy and the Leicester City striker made no errors, striking past David de Gea to reach the milestone. The celebrations were stopped when Manchester United's Bastian Schweinsteiger cancelled out Vardy's goal at the added time of the first half.
